Customer Service Representative

Title: Customer Service Representative
KPCT has an immediate opening for an experienced and energetic Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR has end–to-end responsibility for many customer orders. The CSR takes customer calls, helps customers choose products, and processes and fulfills customers’ orders. A significant portion of the job is processing and fulfilling orders from the company’s web-based store. The CSR reports to the company’s logistics manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer customers’ questions about products (usually by phone) and existing orders (usually by e-mail).   
• Process, fulfill, pack, and ship orders from the online retail store.
• Assist with orders on key wholesale accounts and with other fulfillment projects as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering shipping supplies.
• Use software to reconcile the company’s retail sales to the accounting system on a daily basis.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years related customer service and/or administrative support experience desired.
• Must be friendly and professional, and possess the excellent communication skills required for customer interaction on the phone and via e-mail.
• Must be physically fit to move stock and pack and unpack boxes on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to work independently yet able to work with team members, interacting frequently with product development and web development.
• Strong familiarity with MS Excel and precise and neat data entry skills are a must.
• Should have an understanding of and appreciation for animals.
• Dog training experience using force-free techniques a significant plus.

Compensation:
$23,000 annually + up to $3,600 in health care contribution
